Meet Our Team of Independent Agents

Dawn Horne

CEO and Owner


Dawn Horne has been an independent insurance agent for 30

years, starting out by working with her father in the family

business before relocating to start her own Agency in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Her company has primarily focused on Medicare; however, she also offers Dental and Vision Products, Long Term Care Insurance, Fixed Annuities, and Life Insurance.


Dawn is a board member of the Connecticut chapter of NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals). She recently joined Working Groups of NABIP for Long Term Care and Prescription Drugs. She is also a member of the Association of Medicare Supplement Insurance as well as a Certified Long Term Care Planner (CLTC).


Dawn now resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with her husband Greg and has two children, Greg and Emma.

Greg Horne

Director of Social Media / Agent


For seven years, Greg Horne has been an insurance professional working with clients to give them exactly what they're looking for. While he’s not doing that, he helps run the social media outlets for the company as well as the blog which is updated about three times a month with fun recipes, important announcements, or just holiday greetings. He is the Head Coach for Newtown Middle School baseball and has a dog named Pino!

Chrissy Dullinger

Office Manager / Assistant


Chrissy Dullinger has worked for Horne Insurance Agency for

over seven years. Not only does Chrissy have numerous

responsibilities including scheduling appointments, administrative duties and facilitating the insurance application process, she is responsible for managing the office.

Chrissy is a CPA who previously worked for KPMG Peat Marwick, and was the CFO of First Financial Bank before taking time off to raise her three sons with her husband Tom.

Trudy Nicita

Assistant


Trudy has worked in the nursing home business environment for 25 years. During that period, she worked heavily with health insurance companies regarding benefits and claims.

Trudy has seen firsthand the consequences of not having the

right health insurance for a person's current needs. She looks

forward to transitioning into a new career of helping seniors

navigate the complex world of health insurance and helps with all administrative duties in the office.


Trudy has 2 children and 4 grandchildren in New York and Florida.
